BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - All good things must come to an end. The Kern County Fair ended with a bang, Sunday.
According to officials with of the fair, this year's festivities brought out more people than they have seen in years.
As of Friday night, there were already over 341,000 people that had walked through fair gates.
"We should hopefully go over 400-thousand..attendance which is phenomenal. We haven't reached those numbers in years," said Mike Olcott, CEO of The Kern County Fair.
Those who attended this year's fair had a great time and weren't afraid to express it.
""What I'll miss most about the fair is the funnel cakes. They're delicious," said Mia Castillo, who attended the fair Saturday.
People will work overnight to tear down rides and stands and officials said fairgrounds should be cleared by tomorrow morning.
