Missing 68-year-old Bakersfield woman found

At risk due to health complications

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Kern County Sheriff's deputies said they have found a Bakersfield woman who went missing last month. 

According to Sheriff's deputies the woman, Esther Hewitt, 68,  was last seen on December 20 around 6 p.m. at her home in the 200 block of Moneta Avenue in East Bakersfield. 

Deputies said Hewitt is considered at risk because of health complications. 

She is known to frequent the Buck Owens Boulevard area in downtown Bakersfield. 

Deputies described Hewitt as a Hispanic woman about 5-foot-4-inches, around 130 pounds, has black hair with brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a beige track suit.
