Kern County Sheriff's deputies seize stolen gun during probation search

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Kern County Sheriff's gang deputies seized two guns, one which had been reported stolen, during a probation search, Tuesday. 

The deputies were sent to the 1700 block of Owens Street to conduct a probation search.

During the search, deputies found the two firearms, one of which had been previously reported as stolen in Tulare County.

Deputies arrested Crystal Deleon, 27, and  Bernie Lopez, 27, both of Bakersfield.

Deleon and Lopez were arrested on multiple weapon charges, which included possession of a firearm and ammunition by a prohibited person and participation in a criminal street gang.

Deleon was also booked on three outstanding warrants for her arrest.
