Kern County Sheriff's deputies: Two Bakersfield boys arrested for robbery

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -
Two 16-year-olds were arrested after deputies witnessed them exiting a home during a burglary, according to reports.
On April 22nd, at about 1:30 p.m., Kern County Sheriff’s deputies went to the 2000 block of Pacific Street in east Bakersfield for a report of a burglary in progress.
When deputies arrived they said they watched a 16-year-old male juvenile exiting the window of a home with stolen property in his possession.
According to reports, the juvenile ran from deputies and was later found hiding in a garage in the 1500 block of Palm Drive where he was taken into custody.
A second 16-year-old male juvenile was detained as he attempted to flee out of the back door of the home.
Both juveniles were arrested and booked into juvenile hall for residential burglary, possession of stolen property, conspiracy, resisting or obstructing an officer, and participating in a criminal street gang.
