TEHACHAPI - A Kern County Sheriff's deputy accused of groping two women while on duty is scheduled to face several charges Friday.
Gabriel Lopez, 26, is accused for improperly touching a Tehachapi woman after he responded to a report of a break-in in 2013.
He told the woman he needed to search her. He went back to her home and strip searched the victim, prosecutors said.
The 18-year-old woman later came forward saying Lopez inappropriately touched her during a call at her house.
Lopez faces several charges including assault by a public officer and false imprisonment.
