RIDGECREST, Calif. - According to officials, a woman died after her vehicle crashed into a telephone pole on SR-178, Wednesday.
On Feb. 6, at about 10:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said that 50-year-old Kelly Monteton was driving on the highway, when her vehicle left the road and struck a telephone pole.
CHP officials said Monteton was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
According to authorities, the car left the road for unknown reasons. No other vehicles were involved in this crash.
