BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Kern Medical Center officials have denied rumors that the pay of some hospital workers will be impacted due to a new budget.
According to the Californian., Kern Medical officials want to cut nearly $6.5 million from their budget.
Officials want to assure workers that they do not plan on using across the board salary and benefit cuts to reach their goal.
They said they will use methods, such as, hiring freezes and voluntary furloughs, instead.
