Despite storms hitting Kern County, Whiskey Flat Days in Kernville are still a go.
The Kernville Chamber of Commerce posted on its Facebook page, warning visitors of weather through Highway 178, but said, "We'll be here ready to welcome you to the Wild West!".
In another post, when talking about the parade, set for 10 a.m. Saturday, the chamber said, "Parade is rain or shine."
Whiskey Flat Days kicks off Friday and runs through Monday.
