BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A local supply hardware store gave kids a little help with creating the sweetest Mother's Day present and all it took was a little paint and a whole lot of love.
"There's actually children here who might not be able to do much for their parents," said Sallie Combass-Man, a sales floor leader for Orchard Supply Hardware store. "So we're able to provide them for something to let them know how much they love their mom on Mother's Day,"
Orchard Supply Hardware gave out free pots and paint for kids to create and plant their very own Mother's Day present.
They got a chance to pick a flower, either a rosemary or a petunia, paint the pot and proudly present their loving creation to the very special women in their lives.
All the paint, brushes, plants and pots were provided by Orchard Supply Hardware at no cost.
