BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - For more than 30 years King Leo's Pizza has been a staple on the eastside of Bakersfield.
And last night the restaurant shut its doors for good.
An owner said that the pizzeria has 'been struggling for years to keep the doors open, but this year they made the tough decision to close the business for good.'
The owners of King Leo's said goodbye to loyal customers and apparently their phone hasn't stopped ringing as the news continues to spread around town.
The business had 13 employees and mostly catered to birthday parties and team pizza parties.
There has been no decision on if they plan to bring the pizzeria back.
