He is the world-famous guitarist from the popular band Korn, and he came back to his hometown in Bakersfield to share how the word of God helped him beat his drug addition.
Brian "Head" Welch headlined yesterday's event in Bakersfield High School's Harvey Auditorium, which was organized by the Grace Assembly of God.
Welch hoped to inspire younger generations by discussing his own experiences, including how addiction forced him to quit the band in 2005.
He has since returned to the group, and they recently release and anti-bullying song called "Hater."
