LAKE ISABELLA, Calif. - Is this the world's largest amateur trout fishing derby? That, we don't know - but local organizers in Lake Isabella seem to think so.
The 25th annual Lake Isabella Fishing Derby is going on this weekend. Five hundred fish have been tagged with cash prizes ranging from $50 - $25,000.
The fishing derby is taking place on Saturday, April 12 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you want to register, the cost is $20 per person or $45 for a family of five.
