LAMONT, Calif. - The Lamont Boys and Girls Club will get a lesson in health and fitness this morning, in the form of a check.

The Kern Community Foundation awarded a $10,000 grant to the club.

The grant will provide health related services to at least 50 kids and teens through the club's 'Triple Play Healthy Habits Program'.

The program helps kids learn about nutrition and fitness, while giving them some where to go and something to do after school and during the summer months.
