LAMONT, Bakersfield - Officials said all schools in the Lamont School District are closed for the day on Thursday.
The schools are Myrtle Ave., Alicante, Lamont Elementary, Mt. View Middle School, and Nueva Continuation School.
The schools were initially on a two-hour delay. This is due to a SWAT situation happening in central Lamont.
