BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Motorists are advised to anticipate nighttime lane closures on Rosedale Highway, State Route 58, between State Route 99 and Cottonwood Road, from December 15-19.
The lane closures will be in effect between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., nightly.
The contractor for the SR 58 Gap Closure Project plans to re-stripe the roadway, in preparation of constructing new travel lanes. This operation will require alternating lane closures, but one travel lane is expected to remain open while work is underway.
Motorists are reminded to pay attention to construction signs and to watch for road construction vehicles and personnel while driving through this area. The Thomas Roads Improvement Program apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause the traveling public.
