Leslie Chance, principal accused of shooting and killing husband, working for school district again

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Leslie Chance, the principal accused of shooting and killing her husband, is off administrative leave and working  full-time for the Greenfield Union School District, said district officials.

According to Assistant Superintendent Ken Chichester, Chance is now working as an administrator on assignment, which means she is putting together curriculum projects for the superintendent.

Chichester confirmed that Chance does not have contact with any students or schools, but works from home.

Chance was arrested for allegedly shooting and killing her husband of 17 years, Todd Chance.

She was released because of insufficient evidence. The Kern County Sheriff's office is still re-examining the case against her.
