'Blood Moon' from NASA headquarters

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - An usually beautiful moon will grace the skies of Kern County tonight, and if you can't view it outside for some reason or another, 23ABC has you covered.

Though weather conditions should be suitable for the lunar eclipse to be visible here in Bakersfield and all around Kern County, a little help from the guys at NASA doesn't hurt.

Penumbral Eclipse begins at 9:55 p.m.

Partial Eclipse begins at 10:59 p.m.

Full Eclipse begins at 12:08 a.m.

Maximum Eclipse at 12:46 a.m.

Full Eclipse ends at 1:23 a.m.

Partial Eclipse ends at 2:32 a.m.

Penumbral Eclipse ends at 3:36 a.m.
