BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The local chef showdown was held at The Harvest Festival on Sunday.

Kaiser Permanente Farmers Market organized the event to help showcase the skill and talent of many local chefs.

The chefs faced off and displayed their talent as they prepared dishes made with fresh market produce.

Local chefs included Blake and Jason from The Padre, Jenn and Carl from Narducci's, Edson and Tina from J's Place, and Mike and Ali from Grand Affair.

Celebrity judges discussed dishes with the audience and awarded a winner.
