Bright House Networks recognized 15 local college-bound high school seniors for their hard work and commitment with Bright Future Leaders Scholarships. Launched in 2012, the Bright Future Leaders Student Laptop Scholarship program recognizes college-bound high school seniors for their leadership skills, academic achievements and community service activities.  Each scholar receives a laptop, related software and carrying case.

To apply for the Bright Future Leaders Scholarship program, students completed an application and essay describing the importance of leadership and community involvement. Upon application review, 15 winners were selected based on the content of their submission. Each student selected as a Bright Futures Scholar received a new laptop, carrying case and software at each of their high school senior awards night.

“We are committed to supporting education in the communities where our employees and customers live, work and learn,” said Danielle Wade, Vice President/General Manager, Bright House Networks Bakersfield.  “We are proud to recognize each student for their hard work and dedication through the Bright Futures scholarship program.”
