Local intersection of Hageman, Allen Roads received state recognition

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The re-designing of the intersection of Hageman and Allen Roads has received state recognition.
The group contracted by the county roads department, AECOM Technology out of Los Angeles, has won a merit award from the American Council of Engineering Companies, according to the Bakersfield Californian.
The project included a separation of the street from the BNSF Railroad grade.
The intersection was officially opened late August.
