BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Phil Rudnick plans to pick up where others left off in shuttling travelers to LAX.
"We've tried to put the things into effect that I've been told are important to the traveling public," he says.
Saturday Rudnick announced he was bringing back Airport Valet Express---a shuttle bus that will bring passengers from Bakersfield to LAX---right in time for the holidays.
This is the second attempt to reopen an airport shuttle since Horizon Coach Lines an Interstate Bus stopped picking up travelers this year.
The operation will start to run two busses with two round trips a day. A round trip ticket will cost $89.00 and a one way will cost $49.00. Travelers can park secured for $10.00 a day.
Buses will come equipped with TVs, DVD players, reclining chairs and valet luggage service. But Rudnick says more importantly, he wants to provide quality customer service.
Reservations can be made at 661-363-5000.
The bus is located at 201 New Stine Road, Suite 350, in the south wing of the Stockdale Corporate Centre.
It will start running December 19th.
