Local man shot by two suspects at Stiern Park

Victim says two males shot at him

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man was transported to a local hospital after being shot by two suspects at a park in South Bakersfield. 

Bakersfield Police officers responded to a call of a shooting victim at the 5200 block of Monitor St. Upon arrival, the officers located the victim at the 5200 block of Yellow Rose Court, suffering from a single gunshot wound.

According to BPD, the victim of the shooting reported that he was at Stiern Park on Monitor St. when two suspects came out of a vehicle and began shooting at him. He sustained non-life threatining injuries and was transported to a local area hospital for treatment.

The suspects are described as a White or Hispanic males n their 20's. The suspect vehicle they were in is described as a black late model Escalade truck or red Ford/F-150.
