BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A local school district was presented with a very generous donation.
Sun Edison presented the Lamont School District with a $20,000 grant to be used in the CSUB Summer Innovation Program.
It's a three week summer camp that gives more than 500 fourth through seventh graders a 'hands-on' learning experience in areas like science and engineering.
The grant was presented in the Lamont School District Board Room.
