Local singer/songwriter Sean Flowers performs for live audience after online 'Oildale Royals' hit

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The man behind a locally famous--or infamous--song online performed for a live audience Saturday night.

23ABC first told you about "Oildale Royals," by resident Sean Flowers. He performed the hit to a sold out crowd at B-Ryders Sports Bar.

Flowers posted the parody to his personal Facebook page, where it was well-received. He then shared it on YouTube, where it has been heard nearly 30,000 times.

"I actually put it just for my friends to see, thinking it was maybe going to get five views, and it just took off," Flowers told 23ABC.
