BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A group of veterans came together today to answer some questions about readjusting to civilian life.

The Kern County Veterans Collaborative held their monthly meeting Thursday morning.

A panel of Veterans shared their personal stories and took questions from the public and other veterans.

The panel was to set up to shed light on the struggle vets encounter and to offer solutions.

The meeting is also a way to set up veterans with services that can help, like the Kern County Vets Service and the Wounded Heroes Fund.

The next meeting for the collaborative is Feb. 28 at the National Guard Armory on Gateway.
