Major retailers leave lights on longer for last minute shoppers

32 million still haven't bought gifts

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - You might find yourself relaxing at home tonight when suddenly you spring up and remember you forgot an item on your loved one's wish list.

If it's way past the time stores usually close, this week you might be in luck.

Dozens of major retailers are extending their hours for night owl shoppers still swiping some last minute presents.

Kohls said it will keep it's doors open for more than 100 straight hours starting at 6a.m. Friday December 20th until 6p.m. Christmas Eve.

Kmart stores will be open 6a.m. to 10p.m. Christmas Eve.

Sears will be open on Christmas Eve from 8a.m. to 6p.m.

Target will open at 7a.m. and close at either 9p.m. or 10p.m. depending on the store location.

Toys "R" Us will be open for 24 hours starting at 6a.m. Saturday.
