BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A Bakersfield man accused of murdering another man and burying him appeared in court.
Frank Valles is charged with first-degree murder for the death of Alphonso Hyde.

In an earlier interview with 23ABC, Valles denied killing Hyde.
Valles said Hyde died of a heart attack back in 2008. Valles said he took Hyde's body home to wrap in an Indian ceremonial blanket and bury him.
