Man accused of killing two people inside a pot shop is arrested

BPD still looking for accomplice, Miracle Jackson

OILDALE, Calif. - The manhunt for one of the suspects accused of shooting and killing two people at a Bakersfield business is over.

Police Officers arrested Aaron Burris, but his alleged accomplice is still on the loose.

Bakersfield Police have been looking for Burris and Miracle Jackson since last week after investigators say they robbed a medical marijuana collective, killing the owner and an unarmed security guard.  Investigators say the suspects robbed First Reliable walking away with an undisclosed amount of money and marijuana after allegedly shooting two people inside the store.

Tony Conrad Sherman, 55, and Devin Daniels, 23, were found shot to death.

Sherman owned the business and family members tells us Daniels had just started working there about a year ago.

Daniels was the father of three young girls.

Bakersfield Police officers say they have been following many leads in this case.  The investigation is of course, on-going.  There is no word yet on how long or what the suspect was doing at this home when police found him.

Neighbors 23 ABC spoke with earlier this evening say they began seeing the suspect in the neighborhood within the last week.

"After conducting surveillance, we located the residence which we believed to be involved, after additional surveillance we were pretty confident that our suspect, one of our suspects Aaron Burris was inside that residence at which time a surrender call out was initiated, Aaron Burris came out and was taken into custody without incident," said Sgt. Jason Matson with the Bakersfield Police Department.

23 ABC spoke with the mother of Devin Daniels earlier tonight who tells us she is happy and relieved police have arrested the man accused of killing her son.

Again, Aaron Burris is in police custody.  Officers are still looking for his alleged accomplice Miracle Jackson.
