MCFARLAND, Calif. - The man accused of killing his unborn baby by abusing the mother was in court Wednesday.
Noe Landeros was arrested back in April in McFarland for domestic violence and willful cruelty to a child.
In court on Wednesday he plead no contest to the domestic violence charge, and the willful cruelty to a child charge was dismissed by the judge.
Police say they responded to a reported domestic violence incident in McFarland back in April. When they arrived they learned that Landeros physically assaulted his wife who was currently three months pregnant.
Police say the pregnant wife went to the hospital with complaints of pain and other complications as a result of the attack. The unborn child died as a result of the injuries on the woman.
