BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - One man was arrested after waving a fake gun at officers Friday morning.

At about 2:30 a.m., Kern County Sheriff's got a call about two men holding rifles near Eucalyptus and Fairfax.

When officers arrived, one of the men started jumping up and down yelling at them to shoot him.

A while later, he dropped the gun but then ran into his garage and grabbed another one.

After a short stand-off, the man surrendered and officers were able to determine the gun was plastic and mimicked a military style rifle.

The man, who has not been identified, was arrested and sheriff's said they believe he was under the influence.
