MOJAVE, Calif. - A man is recovering after an incredible rescue mission to pull him out of the rail car he was stuck in for nine days.

The Kern County Fire Department said a cement worker found the man trapped inside the rail car near Oak Creek Road.

Crews had to secure the area, cut through the top of the car, and use a pulley system to get him out.

The man was coherent when officials found him and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

There is still no word on what he was doing inside the car.
