FRAZIER PARK, Calif. - A school is under close surveillance after a man was seen in a tree with binoculars near campus last week.

On Friday, April 26, deputies with the Kern County Sheriff's Office went to an area near Frazier Park School regarding a man seen in a tree with binoculars.

A teacher reportedly spotted the man and reported it to administration.  The man, according to KCSO, appeared to be bird watching in the Chapparall area adjacent to the school. Officials said the man was gone when deputies arrived.

Deputies with the KCSO are keeping a watch of the school's perimeter.
