Man sentenced in grand theft auto case

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man charged with robbery, attempted carjacking, reckless evading a peace officer, using a person as a shield and transporting a controlled substance has been sentenced to 17 years and two months in jail.

Luis Patricio Pedroza pushed a woman out of her car during a grand theft auto and hostage situation back in August 2013.
