BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man arrested after a four-year-old was found unconscious at an apartment complex back in June of 2011 has been sentenced to six years in prison.
Fernando Lopez plead no contest to willful cruelty to a child back in August.
The Bakersfield Fire Department and Hall Ambulance responded to an apartment complex in the 3700 block of Q Street on reports of an unconscious four-year-old on June 1, 2011.
Lopez has already served some of his time, so he has about 1.5 years left in prison.
