BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man is recovering in the hospital tonight after he was stabbed several times at a local park.

It happened at around 6:30 p.m., at Jefferson Park on Bernard Street.

Police said that the man was stabbed several times in the back and torso and was not able to give a suspect description.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Bakersfield Police Department.
