BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A local man is scheduled to be sentenced for a sexual assault which took place last year.
Police said 31-year-old Angel Rodriguez followed a 12-year-old girl from Jefferson Park then lured her into a home on Oregon Street.
The girl told police Rodriguez smoked meth, then tried to get her high by blowing smoke in her face.
Police said Rodriguez then raped the girl.
She was able to escape and ran to a neighbors house to call for help.
