Man wanted in Halloween robbery, assault

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -  

A man is wanted for robbery and assault with a deadly weapon that happened on Halloween night.

On Oct. 31, at about 11:30 p.m., a victim was approached by a Hispanic male in the area of Ridgedale St. and Le Conte Ave. in east Bakersfield. 

The Hispanic male suspect demanded the victim’s wallet and keys to his vehicle. The suspect was able to obtain the victim’s keys but was not able to get his wallet.

The suspect then fled and the victim began chasing him at which time the suspect shot the victim. The suspect then fled in a light blue possible Honda Civic.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male 6’0” to 6’1”, 220 pounds, wearing a blue beanie cap and white t-shirt.
