BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - People in Bakersfield began lining up at 6:30 this morning for the last day to sign up for Obamacare.
Some admit they waited till the last minute to sign up because they procrastinated.
Others say they are here because they don't want to get the penalty for not having insurance.
Some people told 23 ABC that they are excited to finally have insurance for their medical conditions.
People at Clinica Sierra Vista say that the Obamacare website has been down form much of the day making the process take much longer.
As of noon they say they have served about 50 people.
The wait is estimated to be an hour and a half.
