Officers with the McFarland Police Department are looking for suspects wanted for a shooting in the area on Wednesday.
According to McFarland PD, at around 11:44 p.m., they were dispatched to the 500 block of East Kern Avenue for shots fired.
Officers arrived on scene and located a crime scene.
One residence had damage from the shooting.
Officials said their investigation revealed at least two people were involved in some type of altercation on or near the street which resulted in shots being fired.
According to a witness, one unidentified subject was seen leaving the area on a bicycle.
Officers were unable to locate a victim.
