Meeting to allow public to comment on $1.4B Kern County budget

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Kern County's billion dollar budget will be front and center this week.
The Kern County Board of Supervisors will begin its annual budget talks at 6 p.m. tonight with comment from the public on where the money should be spent.
This year's $1.49 billion budget is about two million dollars less than last year.
The final discussion is expected to take place tomorrow.
