BAKERSFIELD, Calif - Kern County Sheriff's Search and Rescue  found a missing hiker near the China Garden Campground.

The hiker, 54-year-old, Mike Fisher separated from the group he was hiking due to a leg injury, on Saturday around 5 p.m., reports said.

Members of the group reported Fisher missing when he did not return from the hike. 

Air-1 and volunteers from the Kern Valley Search and Rescue Team helped look for Fisher. 

Fisher was found across Kern river and brought back safely. Fisher complained of leg pain and declined medical attention reports said.
