Missing Wasco man's vehicle found by San Bernardino Sheriff's deputies

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A missing elderly man's car has been located and crews are currently looking for him, according to Kern County Sheriff's spokesperson Ray Pruitt.

Pruitt said that on June 24, deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department found 80-year-old Clarence Reynolds' car in a remote area in the desert near Black Mountain Canyon.

Officials reported that the car was near Township of Hinckley.  According to reports the car was stuck in the sand.

Search and Rescue effort is underway looking for Reynolds. Within the last couple of hours, nothing has been found.
