Motorcyclist from Los Angeles killed in Bakersfield crash

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - On Sunday, at about 10:26 pm, Bakersfield Police Department officers were sent to the 1200 block of Coffee Road regarding a motorcyclist who had crashed.
The motorcyclist, was identified as Guillermo Garcia, 25, from Los Angeles, California. Guillermo Garcia was riding northbound and failed to negotiate the roadway and drifted into the curb, according to a BPD officer.
Guillermo Garcia was ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene, according to the coroner report.
Guillermo Garcia was a solo occupant of the motorcycle.
Officers said speed appears to be a factor in the collision. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs are a factor in this collision.
