BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - On Friday, deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, along with agents from the Department of Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) conducted a joint undercover operation at the Skybar Lounge, located at 4208 Rosedale Highway.

The operation was conducted as a result of multiple calls for service generated from citizen complaints. The goal of the operation was to ensure the Skybar Lounge was in compliance with all state, and local laws and regulations, officials said.

During the investigation, officials said seven of the security guards employed by the business were found to not have the required security guard identification cards, in violation of Business and Professions Code (B&P) 16240.

The following personnel were issued misdemeanor citations for B&P 16240: QUINCY JACKSON (28 year old male from Bakersfield), DONTE WILLIAMS (a 25 year old male from Bakersfield), CHRISTOPHER VENTURA (a 24 year old male from Bakersfield), MICHEAL BREWER (a 25 year old male from Bakersfield), REGINALD MALONE (a 36 year old male from Bakersfield), RASHA CASTEEL (a 30 year old male from Bakersfield), and NOELL MADRID (a 23 year old male from Bakersfield).
