BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Many national and local restaurants and vendors are offering veterans and active duty military members free meals or specials for Veteran's Day.

On Sunday, Nov. 11, Applebees will offer vets a free Applebees signature entree.  Olive Garden is also offering a free entree to those that have or are currently serving.

On Monday, Nov. 12,  Golden Corral will offer free dinner between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. to veterans. Hooters is offering ten free boneless wings with the purchase of a drink, and the Sizzler is offering free lunch options.  The lunch options for the Sizzler are a 6 oz. steak, Malibu Chicken, or a Half Dozen Fried Shrimp.

On Sunday and Monday, the California Pizza Kitchen is offering a free pizza and drink to veterans. Outback Steakhouse if offering a Free Bloomin Onion appetizer and drink, as well.

From Nov. 10 through Nov. 12, Ikea will also allow veterans to eat for free with a purchase over $100.
