Thousands of dollars in damage to the house

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A fire quickly spread resulting in thousands of dollars in damage to a home in Southwest Bakersfield.
On Saturday, just before 4 p.m., a fire started in the living room of a home on Wonder Lane.
The Bakersfield Fire Department said once on scene, they were able to get the blaze out in about ten minutes.
A neighbor received minor injuries while trying to help with the fire.
Between 60 and 75 dollars in damage was done and the cause is under investigation.
