BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Never before heard music from Bakersfield's own Buck Owens may soon be hitting radio waves.
18 rare tunes from Buck's days on the show "Hee-Haw" are being released in a collection called "Honky Tonk Man: Buck sings Country Classics."
Owens and the Buckaroos performed hundreds of songs on "Hee-Haw" from 1969 through 1986, but not all of them made it off the show.
Another album was also found in Buck's vaults, including one featuring Buckaroo Don Rich.
