BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - NFL Hall of Famer Frank Gifford returned to Bakersfield High School for a special honor on Friday.
Gifford was presented with the Hometown Hall of Famer's Plaque presented by the Pro Football Hall of Fame and All-State Insurance.
Gifford graduated from BHS in 1948 and went on to play at USC and then the New York Giants where he helped lead them to the NFL Championship game five times.
