Nighttime lane closure for Coffee Road

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -
Motorists are advised to anticipate a nighttime lane closure on Coffee Road, from Sunday, October 28, 2012 through Friday, November 2, 2012.
Work will take place between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
The contractor of the Westside Parkway will close an additional lane of northbound Coffee Road between Brimhall Road and Truxtun Avenue (the outside lanes of Coffee Road remain on a 24-hour closure). The inside northbound lane will remain open to traffic while work is underway. All southbound lanes will remain open.
The closure will allow the contractor for the Westside Parkway to install a storm drain and complete underground work. All lanes are expected to reopen in time for the morning commute.
Please stay alert and watch for construction equipment and personnel that may be entering or leaving the work zone. The Thomas Roads Improvement Program apologizes for any inconvenience this work causes the traveling public.
