BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - There was a power outage for much of Northwest Bakersfield after an early morning crash sent a tanker truck into high voltage power lines Wednesday.
Bakersfield Police report there were no injuries involved in that early morning crash, which happened around 3:30 a.m. between a tanker truck and a car.
The truck was down an embankment at the site of the old PG&E power plant for hours.
Some lanes on Coffee Road and Rosedale Highway were closed for most of the day, but are now back open.
